At Kintent, our mission is to make it effortless to earn trust in every business relationship. We also fundamentally believe in operating with complete transparency and openness. In publishing our product roadmap and openly sharing new feature updates, we’re holding ourselves accountable to you and proving that we deliver on our commitments.
New features are developed based on learnings from numerous customer interactions and interviews. Moreover, we vet early versions with design partners before finalizing a release. When we do release a feature to your instance, our objective is to make you feel like we put everything into it — leaving you with the belief that Kintent has been “joyfully crafted” for you!
Being compliant means many people in your company working together. But everyone has their own set of priorities, and you struggle with having to nudge your team to put in the work and stay compliant.
You often wonder: how do you delegate work within your organization so your colleagues know their part in the compliance journey? How do you track your team’s progress, and resolve bottlenecks? How do you ensure that things get done on time, and that people are made aware when they’re lagging behind?
Endless to-do lists, manual processes, and outdated technologies form a perfect storm of tedium, and slow down even the most efficient teams. And your team members hate being bombarded with email notifications.
Our Vulcan hearing heard you mutter under your breath: I wish there was a way to provide each member of my team with a few intelligently prioritized tasks tailored just for them, and motivate them to get their work done faster and more efficiently.
How We Solved Your Challenge
We believe compliance should be a team sport. With Workflow Automation, your team can be segmented into “groups”, including DevOps, Engineering, HR, and Legal. Trust Cloud intelligently delegates tasks, controls, tests, and systems into these groups. Group have owners, who assign each component of your company’s compliance program to the right person within their group.
Once controls, policies, and systems are assigned, each team member receives a set of intelligent task recommendations, automatically prioritized for their role and responsibilities. They can work on these tasks themselves, or delegate them to others as they see fit — after all, it’s the individual system owner who understands that system best. Tasks can be linked to your own external ticketing system (such as JIRA, Asana, or Shortcut), and can optionally include due dates.
To make task management even easier, Trust Cloud intelligently marks tasks as “done” when the work is complete, so your “fix this test” task will be automatically completed once the underlying test passes. When important events occur, Trust Cloud automatically creates new prioritized tasks and assigns them to the right people, so that your team can focus on moving towards your compliance goals.
For Compliance Admin eyes only: with this feature, you and your leadership team can track progress and pending work for each group in the business, identify bottlenecks, and periodically remind team members to clear compliance backlogs that may be building up.
Value to You
With Workflow Automation, we’re relieving time-consuming burdens traditionally borne by the head of the compliance team, and making everyone’s workload more transparent and easier to manage. We’re helping you keep track of the compliance backlog for your team, and giving each person on the team a clear, short, prioritized set of action items. Not only will this feature dramatically accelerate your compliance-readiness process, it will help you easily identify gaps in your compliance program that introduce risks into your business.
Not every feature is life-changing, but we believe that Workflow Automation will be.
As we continue rolling out Workflow Automation features, the next post will focus on company-wide risk tracker, to help your leadership team better assess the business case to invest in security and compliance.
